Following a consultation a hyaluronidase patch test will be performed. This is a skin test that involves injecting a small amount of hyaluronidase into the forearm to check for any allergic reaction. This is compulsory prior to a filler dissolving treatment.

It is only possible to dissolve fillers made of hyaluronic acid using the enzyme hyaluronidase. A patch test must be performed at least 48 hours prior to the treatment (cost of the consultation and patch test not included).
